Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Probrand Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and users regarding the use of American Codex (the “Service”).

2. The Service

The Service generates AI configuration values (instructions) tailored to the user's role, work, and goals for tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, and assists in entering them into the actual settings screens via a connected browser extension. The Company does not operate these AI platforms, and the application flow may change based on each platform's policies and features.

3. Accounts

Users create an account via email or social login (Google). Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials.

4. Pricing & Payment

Paid features are available for life with a single payment (USD 110, VAT included). Payment and settlement are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), which acts as the Merchant of Record for payment and tax handling. Paddle's terms also apply at checkout.

5. Refunds

Refunds follow our separate Refund Policy.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not use the Service for unlawful purposes, reverse-engineer the Service or extension, or misuse another person's account or payment information.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Company does not guarantee outcomes (e.g., revenue or performance) from using the generated configurations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Company limits its liability for damages arising from causes beyond its control, such as AI platform outages or policy changes.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the court having jurisdiction over the Company's location as the court of first instance.
